PJC’s A-Z Implementation Program – Certification Experts
Thousands of organizations have successfully attained certification to various ISO standards by contracting with PJC to assist with implementation.
PJC will assign a team for your project: a scheduler who will be your liaison and point person to schedule each of the visits, an expert consultant who will conduct the gap assessment (on-site) and develop the required documentation (off site), and an certified auditor who will conduct the internal audit after the system has been implemented and there is enough data for an audit.
The four basic steps for implementing an ISO9001 Management System are as follows:
- Gap Assessment:
A gap assessment is a review of a company’s existing policies, practices, and procedures against the desired management system standard. This would include a facility tour, interviews with employees, a review of customer requirements, and a review of existing documentation. At the end of the gap assessment, a report and/or action item list will be presented. - Documentation Development:
PJC will prepare the required documentation, which may include scope, process interaction chart, quality policy and objectives, documented information (both live and historical), and process descriptions per the standard’s clauses. - Implementation Assistance:
Implementation begins with the gap assessment. The action list, or to-do list, along with the consultant’s direction, will guide an organization on the data it needs to collect and the processes that need to be in place to comply with the standard or standards it seeks to achieve. During this return visit, the consultant will ensure that all action items from the gap assessment have been implemented and that employees understand their responsibilities regarding the standard. - Internal Audit:
An auditor will prepare the audit plan, conduct the internal audit, and, in a closing meeting, address the findings to management. These findings or non-conformances must be corrected so the organization can proceed with its certification audits.
Cost of Implementation – This is based on a number of factors, for example: the size of the organization (single-site, multi-site, and employee count), the number of standards the company is pursuing, and in standards such as R2, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001, risk is a huge factor.
Timeline for the Implementation Project – This can vary based on the size of an organization, both in employee count and number of sites, as well as the standard(s) the company is pursuing.
A conference call or Teams meeting with one of our Program Managers will provide us with the information we need to deliver a firm quote and timeline.
